Red Roof Family Restaurant in Pocomoke City

Dont let looks fool you, make the stop! It's a fairly small, unassuming place that looks like it once was a pizza hut. Now, it's a family restaurant with a solid menu, and the food tastes like Grandma's Sunday dinners. We both got the buffet, he got a soda, and I had iced water. So, baked ziti, fried flounder, pork chops, fried chicken, calamari, fresh green beans, mac&cheese, meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy...for less than $25. It was an unexpected slice of homemade heaven!

Terrific service, great food. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault. Great soups, best steak sandwich I've had in years.

Order chicken parm and ol’yeah it was damn good nice serving size that will fill your belly to make you want seconds. Came with a side salad too.

This was, by far, the WORST dining experience I ever had! I went in with my fiance for lunch. When we first walked in the door, the vibe given off was very uninviting and unwelcoming. On top of that, the wait staff and management were very rude. It took forever to get our food, and when we did get our food, it was wrong, and what wasn't wrong, it was cold. I think it's safe to say we will NOT be returning! Consider this one star I gave hella generous smh.

Just went here for the first time. The chicken parmigiana sandwich was very good. Reasonable prices and waitress was very friendly.

Very good pizza. Dough was perfect. Seafood was very popular with the other guys as well.

No wasn't there. Was next door at Ace hardware. Been to Red Roof only once. That was when they first opened. Never been back. Mediocre.

It’s a very quiet & relaxing environment. The food was absolutely amazing! I’m glad we stopped here on our way through to Atlantic City. Definitely stopping on the way home in Virginia!This is a Must Stop to try the Amazing food!

Me and my family love eating at the red roof. They have real great food. Everything is homemade. And the employee that work there they are some nice people a d they are so awesome.

A real gem! Delicious, hot, home cooking! The breakfast buffet on the weekends and the Friday and Saturday night dinner buffets have been outstanding. The price is family-friendly and they have coupons and printed takeout/menus. Well worth a try... unless you're a home cooking snob.

The enviroment is a very friendly laid back, Eastern Shore Restaurant the staff is very friendly and food is affordable. The operators of the business care about what they do and are family oriented. Very down to earth and check out the buffets on the weekends they are a good deal for all you can eat

I discovered this place while on a cycling event with friends, and we are so very happy we did! Can't say enough about the friendly and engaging staff. The owner cares deeply about the product he puts out, and makes the rounds in the dining area often to check on customers, that is, when he's not in the kitchen doing the cooking, as he's the main chef! I have made it a point to come here on weekends to partake of their dinner buffet, and it's ridiculous as to how good the food is at a more than reasonable price-point. The meatloaf is fresh and flavorful, the sides are plentiful and varied, and the other entrees are equally as good as the meatloaf. A special mention goes out to the chef/owner for his particular care in how he prepares and serves his prime rib. It is one of the best I've had on the Eastern Shore.

I ordered a chicken pot pie from this place and the waitress was acting kind of funny the cook said that it was done and ready to come out the waitress brought it out it was a to-go order and walk straight back into the kitchen and when I got home and looked in the food thier was a fly in it they acted a little funny as if they put the fly there I as posted a picture of it they must know some kinda trick because it's not up there now p.s to the owner if you dont want blacks to eating at your place just do what they use to do put up a sign the customers look at you as if it was a sign up

Great staff, good hospitality, great prices, dingy building, needs major upgrade or a layer of paint and new flooring.

Not enough waitresses for the amount of customers. Food was good but the wait was long. And it's wierd how they dice the tomatoes for s sub instead of slicing them.

Very friendly place that has large portions at a very good price. Wish I lived in the area.

We ordered cheesesteak wraps, and our platters arrived with very generous portions. We ordered fries (including tasty sweet potato fries) and extra cheese on our wraps. The meal was very satisfying, and very nice people took care of us. Perfect.

I'm a truck driver, so with that being said it is sometimes hard to find a good place to park and eat. I have been in this place before but it was not the same reception as last time, didn't even have a chance to say anything to the waitress as she told me that they were not taking any more orders at 820pm. As I left I looked at the hours of service sign on the front door and it says that they close at 9PM, to which I then went back in and told her that, her reaction was to peer into the kitchen and tell me that they are cleaning so no more orders. This is BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. Shame on you.

How in the world does this place have such a high rating??? Go look on Facebook people for the love of god!! Run for your life!!!

We had a late lunch passing through today. We didn’t want to eat franchised ready made food. Everything we had from the appetizer menu and dinner entrees was home cooked flavor. We are several hours past the friendly and affordable meals and have not experienced that horrid thirst that follows the franchise menu. Thank you for feeding us!

The chicken noodle soup is pretty good and the chicken fried steak is fork tender. My parents said the coffee is really good. Great big portions at very reasonable prices.

Former Pizza Hut restaurant converted into a family restaurant. Good food, decent prices. Deserts are a little pricey but so worth it!
